Indonesia-China Maritime Cooperation: Identifying Shared Goals and Future Trajectories

On December 1st, 2016, DRC and Center for Strategic and International Studies, Indonesia (hereinafter referred to as CSIS) reached an agreement on a joint research.

This research basically focuses on the theme of “Indonesia-China Maritime Cooperation: Identifying Shared Goals and Future Trajectories”, and it will explore

(a) reactions and the reflections of Indonesia and other ASEAN countries to the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI);

(b) shared interests between BRI and the your development goals and strategies of Indonesia and ASEAN;

(c) future direction and framework of Sino-Indonesian bilateral cooperation under the backdrop of the BRI, and policy suggestions to both governments.
